Girl with Pearl Earring

This piece is my master study and recreation of Girl with a Pearl Earring, the iconic painting by Dutch Golden Age artist Johannes Vermeer. Using oil paints on canvas, I carefully recreated the intricate details and luminous quality of Vermeer’s original work, paying special attention to the play of light and shadow that defines his technique. This study serves as both an homage to Vermeer’s artistry and an exploration of my own approach to capturing the subtle beauty and depth of his masterpiece.
